In this construction project of a detached house in the urbanization “La Sella” in Denia, the main objective was to make the most of the views thanks to its privileged location. In a mountainous area surrounded by nature and sloping land, the challenge was to achieve a comfortable property without excessive levels, modern architecture and whose terrace was the point that articulated the house.
After several meetings with the clients, it was concluded that the best option was to position the house at the highest point of the plot, overcoming the elevation difference at the entrance. This strategic placement ensures unobstructed views by rising above the surrounding houses, allowing residents to enjoy stunning panoramas that extend all the way to the sea and Montgó Mountain.
Their appreciation for design resulted in a modern home with clean, sharp lines, where white monolayer-finished volumes are harmoniously combined with natural stone walls. Inside, the large windows and east-facing orientation allow natural light to flood every corner of the property.
The house is ultimately distributed over two levels. The upper floor hosts a single bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and access to a spacious open terrace. The lower level consists of a large open-plan space integrating the kitchen, living, and dining areas, along with two additional bedrooms and a guest bathroom. Outside, the main living area extends onto a large covered terrace, leading to a sleek infinity pool that takes center stage alongside the stunning views.
