El Botánico

This full renovation once again stems from the collaboration between Cicerone and Juan Montoliu. A meticulously designed architectural project and a precise execution have resulted in an exclusive modern-style apartment, full of unique features and high-quality details.

The uniqueness of the project lies in two volumes that run longitudinally through the residence, creating a dynamic play of contrasts. The first volume, clad in fine wood from floor to ceiling, integrates the entrance door to the property along with various storage areas. The second houses the wet areas and is entirely covered with a traditional-style ceramic material, adapted to contemporary trends. This volume elegantly conceals multiple access doors, ensuring a seamless ceramic surface. While visually simple, this design required significant executional complexity, as the openings had to be precisely aligned with the ceramic tile format.

The installation of large-format ceramic flooring throughout the apartment enhances continuity and reinforces the modern aesthetic of the renovation. The restoration of the exposed brickwork adds a nod to the past, creating a striking contrast with the apartment’s contemporary design. Thoughtful lighting, combining direct lighting and integrated ceiling lights—plaster spotlights and indirect LED strips completes this outstanding architectural project.

Upon entering, the apartment welcomes us with the living-dining area, adjacent to which is a modern kitchen featuring matte white cabinetry and large porcelain slabs with a marble finish. In the hallway, a strategically placed guest toilet is concealed behind a hidden door within the ceramic partition. Continuing the theme of discreet access points, a sliding door separates the hallway, dividing the daytime and sleeping areas. This design solution accommodates a spacious shower and sink within the passageway, making intelligent use of the space. In the bedroom, a large folding glass partition dominates the room, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. The magnificent walk-in closet, with folding doors, completes a dreamlike suite.

If you are considering renovating an apartment in Valencia, the Cicerone team is at your service to guide you through the entire process and bring your project to life.
