This renovation project in an exclusive penthouse in Altea was born from the desire to create a space with its own character, refined and functional. The intervention completely transformed the nature of the home, drawing on noble materials and a very defined colour palette. The ochre of the ceilings, the dark green of the tiled surfaces and the natural tone of the oak gave the whole a modern and balanced identity. Cicerone oversaw the complete execution of the project, supervising every stage of the construction process.
One of the most defining elements of the project are the oak louvred shutters, designed as sliding doors that allow each room to be opened or closed according to the needs of the moment. Beyond their role as space dividers, these pieces create a versatile interplay of light and privacy, maintaining a neat and coherent aesthetic throughout the circulation areas.
The kitchen became the piece that set the tone for the project. Built entirely in oak with a finish that preserves its natural colour and texture, it is complemented by a striking worktop and splashback clad in brilliant dark green tiles, a contrast that brings character and personality to the space. The renovation also included bespoke storage solutions, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes in the bedrooms and hallways that make the most of every centimetre.
The bathrooms were resolved with the same level of detail and care. The vanity units, with fronts tiled in the same dark green as the kitchen, create a visual continuity between rooms that reinforces the coherence of the project. The renovation also extended to the two terraces, where floors were renewed and planters were built on site. The result is a warm, functional home with a very distinct personality.
