This comprehensive renovation of an apartment in Ruzafa was born from the real estate investment made by a former Cicerone client. The trust built and the client’s full satisfaction with our previous work were key factors in entrusting us with this new renovation project.

The property featured beautiful architectural elements that the owner wanted to preserve to maintain the original charm of the home. As a contrast, the choice of materials and the spatial layout followed a modern and industrial aesthetic. This blend of styles was reflected in every detail of the renovation, creating a unique and special character. A clear example of this contrast can be seen in the living area, where the new parquet flooring delicately embraces an “area rug” made of original hydraulic tiles.

The apartment’s elongated layout, combined with the client’s preference for open spaces, inspired the creation of a single open-plan area around which the rest of the home was structured. The use of metal-framed partitions to separate the bedrooms successfully maintained a visual connection between all spaces, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness. A large folding metal-framed window covering the entire rear façade further emphasized this sense of openness and allowed natural light to flow from one end of the property to the other.

Given the constructive typology of the ceilings, solved by wooden structure and revoltones, together with the presence of a large number of exposed face partitions and the choice of parquet as floor covering, made the brown tones flood the apartment. To soften this tonality, some touches of white were included, both in the kitchen and the master bedroom, where it was decided to color the exposed face partitions. The black color of the metallic carpentry provided that industrial but elegant air required by the design pursued by the owner. Careful lighting and carefully chosen furniture complete a sublime renovation project.

The result is a sophisticated and modern apartment in the heart of the Ruzafa district. If you are looking for a construction company specialized in integral reforms, Cicerone is at your disposal to accompany and advise you in all phases of the project.
