{"id":4102,"date":"2025-02-07T09:05:37","date_gmt":"2025-02-07T08:05:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.reformasvalencia.es\/proyectos\/el-mercat\/"},"modified":"2025-07-28T13:24:32","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T11:24:32","slug":"el-mercat","status":"publish","type":"proyectos","link":"https:\/\/www.reformasvalencia.es\/en\/projects\/el-mercat\/","title":{"rendered":"El Mercat"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This <strong>full renovation<\/strong> of a duplex penthouse in the <strong>centre of Valencia<\/strong> was carried out based on the meticulous project of an <strong>interior architect<\/strong> provided by the client, which led to a complete transformation of the space. After the total demolition of the existing rooms to create an open canvas, the goal was to maximise the interior space, achieving four spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and two guest toilets. The design, featuring a carefully studied play of curves in key elements, was conceived as a nod to the iconic architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences, while the daytime area was oriented to make the most of the property\u2019s stunning views.  <\/p>&#13;\n<p>Our role, as the <strong>construction company<\/strong>, was to manage the <strong>renovation <\/strong>in its entirety, ensuring the project author\u2019s vision was rigorously respected while addressing the various technical complexities that arose. Among the main challenges, the layout and width of the staircase were modified, and all the interior joinery was custom-made, combining different types of finishes. Particularly complex was the solution for the curved wardrobes that separate the kitchen from the dining area. <\/p>&#13;\n<p>The terraces were finished with natural stone (basalt) on adjustable pedestals, achieving level continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces with flush window frames. Inside, the flooring combined cherry wood parquet with polyurethane resin, overcoming the difficulty of their junctions. To enhance the views, large-format sliding exterior windows were installed. The kitchen countertops were custom-made from solid mineral resin, and much of the bathrooms were clad in oven-lacquered tempered glass. This renovation proved to be a true challenge due to the wide variety of materials used and the complexity of the joints, resulting in an impressive duplex penthouse that blends minimalism with modernism.    <\/p>&#13;\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-4102","proyectos","type-proyectos","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.3 -
